3 Helpful Tips To Effortlessly Wrap Any Gift

If you’re one of those people who find gift wrapping to be a chore, take a deep breath and relax. Today, we will cover three helpful tips to effortlessly wrap any gift at any skill level. You will soon be able to wrap with the best of them, and you won’t have to break a sweat doing it!

Measure the Paper

One of the most crucial parts of wrapping any gift is knowing the size of the paper you will be using. It might be a good idea to invest in wholesale wrapping supplies before you begin this adventure. Measuring out how much paper you will need prevents you from overusing paper and ending up with a cluttered mess that looks untidy and disheveled. On the other hand, if you didn’t measure and ended up with too little paper, you’ll need to get creative or cut a new sheet of paper, wasting the paper you already cut. You could opt to layer the paper for a creative wrapping job, but this may be a waste of tape and paper.

Cut the Paper

How you cut the paper is important. You will want to make sure that you are cutting clean, straight lines that taper off at the ends. Each corner of the paper should end in sharp, right angles. If you do this, you can piece everything together as you initially planned. Your folding and angles will be on the right track to set you up for success when you’re finally ready to finish your project.

Fold and Tape

Most people cringe at the thought of folding, but there’s really nothing to it. Once you get your two main folds over the top of the package, you will want to secure them in place. With the excess wrapping that’s sticking out on both top and bottom, grab the paper from the middle and push it inward toward the center of the package until you touch the box.

With the opposite hand, grab either the top or bottom piece, lay it down on top of the center piece, measure it for a perfect 45-degree angle, and fold it all in place. Do the same with the other piece. Now you will have two corners of the box wrapped and taped. Do the same thing with the rest of the excess paper and corners, and you’ll have a fully wrapped gift!

With time and practice, you will be on your way to wrapping anything you can get your hands on. This was just a simple tutorial on three helpful tips to effortlessly wrap any gift. Hopefully, it helped in your gift-wrapping journey. Remember that practice makes perfect.
